hello yahoo! answerers.


im writing a novel, and my two protagonists were together but they were forced to breakup because it was essentially an unhealthy relationship. the girl's parents forced her to break ties with the boy by threatening to send her away as well as threatening to press charges on the boy.


so to protect him, she tells him that she hates him, and she was just using him etc etc. she ignores him at school and changes her class schedule.


i think i've dug a grave for myself because i cant figure out how anyone would want to go back to a person after their heart has been stomped on.





so does anyone have any real life incidents that have happened to them where they have won back their significant other after a horrible breakup? everything i think of seems so corny .

This has never ever happened to me but I would imagine it to be somewhat dramatic. Like, maybe something serious (medically) happens to the girl and the other feels that they never really got over them and they reconnect while healing.

apologies and confession in love are the only things i can think of. liek the girl can't stand it anymore and goes to the guy and talks to him n stuff
Make it to where the girl explains to him her brain thought one way and her heart felt another, and she listened to her mind instead of listening to her heart.
i think its looking bit like new moon, the second book of twilight.





you can write, like, she was going by the road, and she suddenly caught his face by the crowd and stood staring. he wanted to make up friendship again with her, so he waves, but she doesnt wave.


then you can show that a car or something hits her or she falls down injured and the boy helps her to the hospital.


and he remains by her side.....dont make it too emotional. when the girl gets out of consciousness, she begins to feel awe for his help. therefore, she blurts it out to him.





thats the only idea i have.
